Our Story
Where It BeganFrom the moment our paths first crossed, we felt a connection that neither of us could fully explain—but one we simply couldn't ignore. What began as a friendship at church, brought together by our shared love for Adventist music, gradually blossomed into a beautiful love story.
Over the years, we took the time to truly know one another. We found comfort in our shared values, embraced our differences, and built a friendship rooted in trust, laughter, and faith. Through countless conversations, cherished moments in nature, and the simple joy of making music together, we discovered not only our best friend, but the person God had been preparing for us all along.
Faith, Love & Forever
Our CovenantAs our love deepened, so did our commitment to one another. We found ourselves living the words of Song of Solomon 6:3:
“I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine.”
With grateful hearts and the blessing of our families, we chose to begin the next chapter of our lives together.
This December, we are filled with joy as we invite our beloved family and friends to Kakamega to witness our covenant before God and celebrate the beginning of our forever.
How He Sees It
By KevinThe first time I saw Jael, I was immediately captivated by her beauty and vibrant personality. I knew I wanted to know her better. Our first date at a restaurant in town lasted for hours because the conversation flowed so naturally—it felt as though we had known each other forever.
The more time we spent together, the more I admired her kindness, her sense of humor, and the genuine joy she brings into every moment. Before long, I knew she was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
Planning to ask her to marry me was the most nerve-racking thing I've ever done, but hearing her say “yes” became the happiest moment of my life. I thank God every day for bringing her into my life, and I can't wait to begin this new journey together as husband and wife.
How She Sees It
By JaelKevin came into my life at exactly the right time. From the very beginning, I was drawn to his integrity, his kindness, and the sense of peace and security I felt whenever I was with him.
Before I knew it, he had become my closest friend—the first person I wanted to tell every piece of news, whether joyful or challenging. Falling in love with him happened so naturally that it felt like God's perfect plan unfolding before my eyes.
When he asked me to marry him, I was completely surprised, but my answer came without a moment's hesitation. Saying “yes” was the easiest decision I've ever made. I am incredibly grateful that God brought us together, and I cannot wait to become his wife and build a lifetime of love, faith, and adventure together.
